FIG. 00 — BASED REMOTE / OPEN TO RELOCATE

Salvatore Ribaudo

7 years shipping software. 4 years founding companies. I build the systems, then build the business around them.

About

FIG. 01 — PROFILE
Salvatore Ribaudo

Simplicity is the interface.  Everything else is a detail.

I'm a software engineer and founder who values the art of building something from the ground up. I've started numerous companies, and every one of them started the same way, I ran into a problem myself, couldn't find something that solved it well, and built it.

Today that's Rivaudo, DBByte, Webdever, and WebDevX. I still write code most days, because the fastest way to know if a product idea is real is to build the smallest working version of it yourself.

I'm drawn to hard technical problems with a clear business behind them: systems that need to be correct, fast, and worth paying for.

llama3.1:8b — running on local hardware

Hey — I'm running on my own hardware, not a third-party API. Ask something about the work on this page, or just say hi.

This chat calls out to a Llama model served from my own inference stack. No OpenAI, no Anthropic, just a box running Ollama on my own hardware.

Building something worth a conversation?

I take on a small number of advisory engagements and technical co-founder conversations each quarter. If that's what you're building, reach out directly.
